Fnatic Sign Cloud to Valorant Roster for VCT EMEA Stage 2
Fnatic has signed Kirill ‘Cloud’ Nekhozhin, an experienced Valorant initiator, to strengthen its roster for VCT EMEA Stage 2. The 22-year-old Russian professional, who previously served as captain and in-game leader (IGL) of GIANTX since the organization’s VCT EMEA entry in 2023, has signed a three-year contract with Fnatic, indicating the organization views him as a long-term asset.
The signing addresses a roster gap created by the recent departure of Clément ‘CyvOph’ Millard to Natus Vincere. CyvOph had joined Fnatic earlier this year as a replacement for Sylvain ‘Veqaj’ Pattyn, who stepped down due to health concerns. Cloud’s three-year commitment demonstrates Fnatic’s confidence in his abilities to stabilize and lead the team through multiple competition cycles.
Cloud brings established leadership experience from his time at GIANTX, where he has managed both strategic in-game calls and roster direction. His signing is part of Fnatic’s ongoing efforts to maintain competitive viability in the European Valorant Champions Tour.
