Activision has announced that remastered ports of Call of Duty: Black Ops and Black Ops 2 are coming to PlayStation platforms. The ports, being developed by Iron Galaxy and announced by Treyarch in June 2026, are confirmed for release on PlayStation 4 and PS5 in July 2026, though Activision has not disclosed the exact release date.

The announcement has sparked significant social media engagement, with the reveal garnering over 158,000 likes on X, surpassing the engagement of Modern Warfare 4’s reveal trailer, which received 78,000 likes.
