Esports Nations Cup LoL Rosters and Invites Confirmed
The Esports Foundation (ENF) has confirmed the 16 League of Legends rosters receiving direct invitations to the Esports Nations Cup, a premier international tournament featuring mono-national teams competing across multiple esports titles.
Despite 112 nations submitting rosters for consideration, only 32 teams will compete in the $1.5 million LoL championship. The ENF employed a systematic scoring methodology to identify the 16 direct invitees, assessing players’ recent competitive results and performance metrics to ensure the highest-caliber teams secured automatic qualification.
The remaining 16 tournament spots will be filled through a two-tiered qualification process. Fourteen positions will be contested through online regional qualifiers, allowing nations outside the direct invite tier to earn their place through competition. The final two spots are reserved for ENC Wildcard representatives, providing an additional pathway for competitive inclusion. This structure balances elite team representation with broader international participation, creating opportunities for emerging regional powerhouses while maintaining tournament competitive integrity.
