For some reason, Riot Games is creating a Valorant ‘pub’ in east London hosted by a British takeaway guy who likes to yell “bosh!”
Riot Games has announced a limited-time pop-up pub experience in east London to coincide with the Valorant Masters London finals. The Phoenix Arms, located at the Hackney Bridge complex in Hackney, will operate as a Valorant-themed venue from June 19–21, 2026.
The pub will be hosted by Big John, a popular British YouTuber and food reviewer known for his “BOSH” catchphrase and entertaining eating videos. Riot Games has partnered with the content creator to run the venue during the Masters London finals, which take place at the nearby Copper Box Arena in Stratford.
The Phoenix Arms will feature Valorant-themed décor, including custom pint glasses and branded beer-tap labels. Attendees will be able to watch the Masters finals live for free on-site, though beverages will be available for purchase at standard pub prices.
The pop-up pub is part of the broader Masters London Fan Fest, held at Hackney Bridge, which offers the gaming community opportunities to meet, participate in live Q&As with special guests, and engage in community challenges. The event represents an unconventional marketing approach by Riot Games, blending esports competition with grassroots community engagement and British pub culture, creating an immersive, location-based experience around a major esports tournament.
