According to Famitsu sales data, Powerful Pro Baseball 2026-2026 achieved a commanding debut with 100,976 units sold in its first week in Japan. The title’s strong launch demonstrates continued appetite for the long-running sports franchise in the region. Tomodachi Life, despite losing the top position, remained a formidable performer, adding 37,888 units and bringing its lifetime total to nearly 1.5 million copies sold. This achievement is particularly notable as Tomodachi Life has already surpassed the sales of Pokémon Pokopia.
On the hardware front, Switch 2 maintained its lead in system sales, though overall figures declined as expected in the current market cycle. The PS5 Digital Edition continues to perform solidly, positioning itself as a competitive option in the region. Nintendo’s Switch Lite also remains a strong seller, benefiting from its lower price point and portable appeal.
