Amazon’s Fallout series has scored itself some impressive talent, with Star Wars and The Hobbit actors all joining for season three
Amazon’s acclaimed Fallout television adaptation is expanding its cast for season three with three notable additions. Manny Jacinto, known for his role as Jason Mendoza in NBC’s The Good Place and as the Stranger in Star Wars: The Acolyte, will join the series in a recurring capacity. Actress Emily Mortimer, recognizable from The Newsroom and numerous film roles, has also signed on, as has Thomasin McKenzie, known for her breakout role in Jojo Rabbit.
While character details remain under wraps, the three actors will bring their talents to the post-apocalyptic wasteland alongside returning cast members including Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, and Breaking Bad alum Aaron Paul. The expansion of the ensemble comes as Amazon moves quickly to capitalize on the series’ massive success, with the first two seasons accumulating over 100 million views. Filming for season three is set to begin this month in Los Angeles, signaling active production on what appears to be a highly anticipated continuation of the video game adaptation.
