This international engagement follows the release of a new City Hall-commissioned report that outlines a strategic roadmap for London’s esports future and the steps needed to position the capital as an industry leader.
The mayor’s push to develop London’s esports ecosystem is framed around two key objectives: stimulating the city’s economy through major esports events and creating employment and opportunities for young people in the gaming industry.
