Dead Space, one of the best video game remakes ever, is just $6 on Steam right now
EA Motive’s 2023 remake of Dead Space is currently available for $5.99 on Steam as part of EA’s ongoing summer sale—a 90% discount that represents the lowest price the game has ever achieved on the platform. The classic horror title, which normally retails for $59.99, offers exceptional value at the heavily discounted price.
Widely regarded as one of the finest video game remakes ever created, Dead Space successfully modernizes the 2008 original while preserving the core elements that made it a standout in the survival horror genre. The remake retains what players loved about the original while introducing substantial improvements across gameplay, visuals, and overall presentation.
The game follows engineer Isaac Clarke as he battles grotesque threats aboard a space vessel, delivering an intensely immersive horror experience. The remake’s faithful yet enhanced approach to the source material has resonated with both longtime fans and new players.
For those interested in survival horror gaming or seeking a high-quality remake that respects its predecessor, this sale presents an ideal opportunity to experience one of modern gaming’s best reimaginings at a fraction of its normal cost.
