The article is a weekly gaming column from pure-xbox where staff share what they’re playing over the weekend. Editor Fraser Gilbert discusses his upcoming gaming plans, which include several notable titles available on Xbox.
Gilbert expresses enthusiasm for Copa City, a newly released football management simulation game that draws inspiration from Cities: Skylines. The game focuses on the organizational and logistics aspects of hosting major football matches, including security and fan experience management. Copa City became available on Xbox earlier in the week and has caught Gilbert’s attention, particularly given his current interest in World Cup-themed gaming.
Beyond Copa City, Gilbert plans to continue his gameplay with 007 First Light, the James Bond-themed title. He is also dedicating time to Forza Horizon 6’s Series 2 content, indicating ongoing engagement with the racing franchise’s seasonal updates.
Additionally, Gilbert mentions recently acquiring a PlayStation Classic console, which he has been modifying. This detail highlights his broader interest in gaming across different platforms and systems, including retro gaming experiences.
The article positions Xbox Game Pass as a central hub for weekend gaming, featuring both new releases and established titles.
