Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (20th June)
Nintendo Life staff discuss their weekend gaming plans in this regular column. Features Editor Jim Norman is replaying The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, having progressed to the Forest Temple. He notes the dungeon’s iconic musical score remains just as unsettling as it was in the original release. Norman is also considering picking up Lorelei and the Laser Eyes, which is currently on sale for 50% off on the Nintendo eShop and includes a complimentary Switch 2 upgrade—an offer that may interrupt his Zelda replay.
Video Producer Mai Ladyman has found herself regularly returning to Rise of the Tomb Raider after initially playing it for video content production work. She reports playing it nearly every night since starting, highlighting the game’s ability to maintain engagement beyond initial playthroughs. The column reflects the diverse gaming interests of Nintendo Life’s staff heading into the weekend.
