GIANTX Bring Flakked Back to LEC After Noah and Lot Dropped
GIANTX has announced significant roster changes for their League of Legends European Championship (LEC) roster ahead of the Summer Split. The Spanish organization is promoting support player Víctor ‘Flakked’ Lirola Tortosa while benching mid-laner Oh ‘Noah’ Hyeon-taek and top-laner Eren ‘Lot’ Yíldız. Former Fnatic top-laner Óscar ‘Oscarinin’ Muñoz is expected to replace Lot.
The changes mark the first major roster overhaul for GIANTX in over a year and a half, during which the team maintained the same lineup despite inconsistent playoff performance. The organization has not finished higher than fourth place in LEC Playoffs during this period, prompting the restructuring.
The timing of these changes coincides with the expiration of all current players’ contracts in November. Additionally, there are reports that Noah and support player Yoon ‘Jun’ Se-jun may need to return to South Korea next year to fulfill military service obligations, which may have influenced the roster decisions.
