One of PS5’s Most Promising Open World Games Is Finally Being Showcased in August

No Law, an ambitious open-world shooter with RPG elements set in a cyberpunk future, is finally getting its most substantial showcase at Gamescom this August. Published by Krafton, the game puts players in the role of Grey Harker, a grizzled ex-military protagonist navigating a gritty crime drama in a dystopian setting that blends action-oriented gameplay with narrative-driven storytelling.

Since its announcement at the end of 2025, No Law has generated considerable interest within the gaming community, though concrete glimpses of gameplay have remained limited to brief trailer segments. The upcoming Gamescom presentation is expected to provide the most in-depth look at the game to date, allowing press and attendees to see the open-world shooter in full action.

While an official release window remains unconfirmed, 2027 appears to be a reasonable estimate based on the game’s development trajectory. The showcase marks a significant step forward in building momentum for the title ahead of its eventual launch on PlayStation 5.
