Pokémon Pokopia’s “Wish Upon a Jirachi” limited-time event has launched, introducing the Mythical Gen 3 Pokémon Jirachi to the cosy life simulator from June 23 to July 8, 2026. As part of the free content drop, players can welcome Jirachi as a new companion and build the exclusive “Surrounded by Stars Habitat” to settle the Pokémon in their town.

The event follows a similar format to previous limited-time events—with Jirachi appearing at a Pokémon Center offering items in exchange for a new currency—but introduces modified gameplay mechanics. Players can obtain event-exclusive cosmetic items by exchanging Sparkling Wish Notes, a new currency unique to this event. To acquire these notes, players must first craft standard Wish Notes using just two pieces of Vine Rope, making the process relatively accessible and material-efficient.

Participation requires players to have already rebuilt a Pokémon Center, which serves as the foundation for engaging with the event’s content. This continues Pokémon Pokopia’s ongoing expansion strategy as developer Koei Tecmo steadily adds new Pokémon, habitats, and limited-time events. The game continues to build its roster ahead of the upcoming release of Pokémon Winds & Waves in 2027.
