Rhythm Heaven Groove free demo out now for Switch

Nintendo has released a free demo for Rhythm Heaven Groove on the Switch eShop, ahead of the game’s full launch on July 2. The demo provides a substantial preview of the rhythm game, featuring content from both single-player and multiplayer modes.

The single-player portion includes one complete stage of the campaign, containing four distinct minigames plus a remix level that blends elements from all four games together. The included minigames showcase the series’ signature quirky charm: Hoop Trundling features sad blobs jumping through hoops, Brolly Good Show has turnip creatures flapping umbrella heads on a Parisian street, Disc Dog takes place on a mysterious planet where a dog counts to seven before catching a frisbee, and Feeding the Beast has a monster eating flying tulip heads to the beat. The remix combines all four games into what the game describes as a “wild jumble.”

The demo also includes one multiplayer minigame, Rhythm Tweezers, allowing players to experience the game’s social features. This free demo strategy gives players a substantial taste of what to expect from the full release arriving on July 2 for Nintendo Switch.
