Diablo 4’s next season has been fully detailed and dated, and there’s a free Warlock trial on the way and an Overwatch collab coming
Blizzard has fully detailed Diablo 4’s upcoming season, Season of Death Awakening, launching June 30th, with details revealed during a livestream announcement.
The season’s centerpiece feature is “Mythic Uniques 3.0,” which allows players to convert any Unique item into a Mythic item—the highest quality tier available. This represents a significant quality-of-life improvement for end-game progression and item farming.
The seasonal content includes a structured season journey with 120 objectives distributed across nine ranks, providing players with a comprehensive reward track and progression goals throughout the season.
Blizzard also announced side attractions to accompany the seasonal launch: a free Warlock trial will be available to players, allowing them to test the class, and an Overwatch crossover collaboration is coming to Diablo 4, bringing themed cosmetics and items from the tactical shooter franchise into the game.
