Grand Theft Auto 6 price finally revealed as $80 in the US, but what about the UK, Europe and rest of the world?

Rockstar Games has officially announced that Grand Theft Auto 6 will cost $79.99 for the standard edition and $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition when it launches on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Pre-orders began at midnight local time on June 25, 2026.

The $79.99 base price represents a $10 increase over the standard $70 pricing established this generation, though it falls short of the $100 price point that many industry analysts and consumers had speculated about. The Ultimate Edition includes exclusive premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and in-game content threaded throughout the story of protagonists Jason and Lucia.

Rockstar confirmed that physical editions of GTA 6 will ship November 12, providing early access for pre-download, but they will contain only a download code rather than a disc. Digital pre-orders will also be available for pre-download starting November 12, giving players a full week to download ahead of launch.

All players who pre-order before November 20 receive the Vintage Vice City cosmetics pack and a one-month subscription to GTA+, which includes $500,000 in-game currency and access to classic Rockstar titles. The standard edition can be upgraded to the Ultimate Edition later via DLC, though the Ultimate Edition locks exclusive in-game stores and content behind the higher price tag.

The announcement settles months of industry speculation about GTA 6’s pricing strategy and may establish a new standard for premium AAA game pricing on consoles.
