Halo: Campaign Evolved board game announced for 2026

Mantic Games has announced Halo: Campaign Evolved – The Board Game, a tabletop adaptation developed in partnership with Halo Studios. The board game is inspired by the upcoming Halo: Campaign Evolved, a ground-up remake of the original 2001 campaign that launched the franchise. The video game remake, announced in October 2025, is being rebuilt entirely in Unreal Engine 5 with enhanced mechanics and expanded content.

Like its video game counterpart, the board game will support both solo play and two-player cooperative experiences, allowing players to experience Master Chief’s original adventure in a new format. The board game is currently scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Mantic Games describes the project as an “action-packed board game,” though additional details about gameplay mechanics, components, and specific features remain limited at this time. The partnership represents an expansion of the Halo franchise beyond traditional video games, bringing the iconic series to the tabletop gaming market as the video game remake generates renewed interest in the original campaign.
