‘Scottish Dynasty Warriors’ Tears Of Metal Is Marching To Xbox Game Pass Next Month
Paper Cult has announced that Tears of Metal, a medieval hack-and-slash roguelike, will launch into Early Access on July 22 across Xbox Game Pass for PC, Steam, and the Microsoft Store.
Tears of Metal is a co-op hack-and-slash roguelike centered on Scottish medieval warfare. Players command a formidable Scottish battalion to carve through hordes of enemies while working to reclaim their island from invasion. The game takes inspiration from Dynasty Warriors, delivering fast-paced action-oriented combat encounters. As players advance deeper into the game’s campaigns, they uncover narrative details about a mysterious Dragon Meteor and the forces orchestrating a treacherous enemy invasion.
The early access release brings the title to multiple platforms simultaneously, providing broad accessibility across PC gaming ecosystems. The inclusion on Xbox Game Pass for PC signals Microsoft’s continued investment in bringing indie and mid-tier titles to its subscription service, while the Steam availability ensures reach to the broader PC gaming audience. This multi-platform approach allows the developers to gather feedback from diverse player communities during the early access phase before a full commercial launch.
