Tomb Raider’s Lara Croft gets surprising crossover with GI Joe
Lara Croft is celebrating her 30th anniversary with a surprising crossover collaboration with G.I. Joe. Hasbro is creating a commemorative action figure of the iconic Tomb Raider character as part of this partnership. While the collaboration was initially announced in May, the full details and first look at the figure were revealed during a special livestream event hosted by Hasbro Pulse and co-hosted by Dan Larson of the pop culture channel Secret Galaxy.
The action figure is produced in Hasbro’s six-inch scale line and includes multiple accessories. Most notably, the figure features Lara Croft’s signature dual-wield pistols, her iconic weapons from earlier Tomb Raider games. The livestream event provided the first official look at how Hasbro has reimagined the legendary archaeologist and adventurer in action figure form.
This crossover brings together two major entertainment properties—the long-running Tomb Raider franchise and Hasbro’s G.I. Joe universe—merging video game culture with the toy collectible market. The action figure represents recognition of Lara Croft’s continued popularity and cultural significance across three decades of gaming history.
