Epic Games Store’s new free PC games revealed
The Epic Games Store is offering two free PC games this week for platform users. Players can claim Voidwrought, a hand-drawn 2D Metroidvania platformer immersed in cosmic horror, alongside RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition.
Voidwrought is an action-platformer designed for players who have completed recent titles like Hollow Knight: Silksong and Mio: Memories in Orbit. The game features hand-drawn 2D visuals set within ruins and cosmic horror-themed environments. A core feature is its customization system, offering over 50 active Relics and passive Souls—weapons and buff upgrades—that allow players to tailor their playstyle according to their preferences while battling challenging enemies. The game has garnered positive reception on Steam, with nearly 900 “Mostly Positive” user reviews.
RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition rounds out this week’s free game offering. Both titles are available for a limited time through the Epic Games Store’s weekly free game promotion, a strategy the platform employs to attract and retain users by offering indie and classic titles at no cost.
