Tencent, Xbox, Game Angels, Ansible and Flick to speak on Game Republic New Horizons investor stage
Game Republic New Horizons has announced the inaugural speakers for its upcoming conference’s Investor Zone. The lineup includes a fireside chat with Tencent’s business development director Teddy Keefe, providing insight into investment strategies and business development approaches for gaming companies.
A key panel, titled ‘Beyond the Pitch: Securing (and Surviving) Angel Investment,’ will feature Nick Button-Brown from The Game Angels, Ansible’s Tracy McGarrigan, and Ian Masters from Flick Games. The panel will explore the practical aspects of securing angel investment and maintaining investor relationships within the gaming industry.
Additional sessions will address game publishing strategies, with Xbox presenting on bringing games to its platform. The conference will also include sessions with the BFI and Innovate UK, featuring various other publishers and venture capital investors. Games London is organizing the event and bringing an international cohort of investors, positioning the conference as a significant platform for networking and business development opportunities within the gaming industry.
