The Most Exciting Thing About GTA 6 Has Little To Do With Its Open-World Action

Rockstar Games released 63 new screenshots for Grand Theft Auto 6, coinciding with the opening of preorders for the highly anticipated sequel. The images showcase an impressive level of visual detail, featuring ray-traced reflections and photorealistic fidelity that has impressed observers, even those typically skeptical of photorealism in gaming.

However, technical analysis by Digital Foundry and other experts suggests the screenshots may represent enhanced promotional material rather than actual in-game footage. The images reportedly display “an unprecedented level of polish” that experts believe may not reflect the graphics players will encounter during actual gameplay on their systems.

GTA 6 continues to generate significant industry buzz as it approaches its November release date. The game has already drawn attention for its predictably high price points across standard and premium editions. With the release of marketing materials and preorder availability now in place, Rockstar appears to be in full promotional mode leading up to launch.
