Resident Evil and Monster Hunter Collab Revealed for Survival Unit

Capcom has announced a limited-time crossover between two of its most popular franchises: Resident Evil and Monster Hunter. The collaboration will take place in Resident Evil Survival Unit, a mobile-based strategy game that launched last November. The crossover will bring Monster Hunter-inspired elements to the Resident Evil universe, allowing players to experience content from both franchises within a single game.

The event will run from July 2nd through July 29th, giving players nearly a month to participate in the limited-time collaboration. During this period, players will have the opportunity to unlock exclusive in-game rewards that draw inspiration from the Monster Hunter series. These limited-time offerings are typical of live-service events, designed to encourage engagement and provide unique content that cannot be obtained outside the event window.

This collaboration represents Capcom’s effort to leverage two of its most successful gaming properties to drive engagement in Resident Evil Survival Unit. By combining Monster Hunter elements with Resident Evil’s post-apocalyptic atmosphere, the event aims to appeal to fans of both franchises and introduce players to the mobile strategy game.
