Liquid Confirm trexx and Kicks for VCT EMEA Stage 2
Team Liquid has officially announced the signings of Nikita ’trexx’ Cherednichenko and Kimmie ‘Kicks’ Laasner to its Valorant roster ahead of VCT EMEA Stage 2. The roster additions follow the organization’s voluntary benchings of Wayne ‘wayne’ Chang and Dominykas ‘MiniBoo’ Lukaševičius, which had reduced Liquid’s active competitive roster to just three players ahead of the upcoming stage.
trexx makes a return to Team Liquid after an eight-month absence from the active roster. The Russian player previously helped Liquid achieve a strong performance during VCT 2025 EMEA Stage 2 last August, contributing to the organization’s competitive success. However, the team’s disappointing showing at Valorant Champions prompted a roster evaluation that ultimately led to his departure.
Kicks is being promoted from Team Liquid Academy to the main roster, reuniting her with her former Vitality teammate trexx. The two previously competed together during their time at Vitality, providing an established partnership and synergy as Liquid aims to strengthen its lineup for Stage 2 competition.
