Project Hail Mary Ultra HD Blu-ray gets release date for two physical editions
Project Hail Mary, one of 2026’s most talked-about films directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, is coming to home video this summer. Amazon MGM Studios and Alliance Home Entertainment announced that the film will be released in 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD formats on August 11, 2026, priced at $27.96.
The initial August release includes five deleted scenes, director commentary, and a featurette titled “Earth’s Favorite Eridian.” A premium edition targeted at holiday consumers is scheduled for October 13, 2026. This expanded 3-disc SteelBook collector’s edition is priced at $49.99 and features additional bonus content, a collectible booklet, and exclusive packaging. Both releases are now available for pre-order.
The film is currently streaming exclusively on MGM Plus. The dual release strategy serves both standard home video consumers and collectors seeking premium editions.
