Silent Hill F Gets a Dose of PS5’s Fatal Frame in New Cosmetics Update
Silent Hill F has received a free PS5 update introducing a new cosmetics option for players. The update adds a costume for the game’s protagonist Hinako inspired by Mio Amakura, the main character from the recently released Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly Remake, also available on PS5.
The new outfit is now available for immediate equipping through the Change Costume tab at any Hokora location within the game. As a free update, it requires no additional payment, providing players with an additional customization option for their protagonist character.
This cosmetic crossover represents a notable collaboration between two PlayStation titles, both of which feature horror themes and Japanese-influenced settings. The Fatal Frame 2 Crimson Butterfly Remake was recently released on PS5, and this cosmetic integration helps connect the two horror franchises while providing promotional value for both games.
The update is currently live and available to all Silent Hill F players on the PS5 platform at no cost.
