Crank and Crank: High Voltage are free to watch on Pluto TV
The action films Crank (2006) and Crank: High Voltage are now available to watch for free on Pluto TV. The movies exemplify the 2000s tradition of action-as-absurdity—combining high-stakes action sequences with slapstick and surreal comedy. Rather than taking themselves seriously like contemporaries such as The Bourne Identity or Kill Bill, the Crank films embrace intentional ridiculousness, creating deliberately stupid yet gleefully entertaining cinema that stands apart from more grounded action films of the era.
