Mina the Hollower will make her fighting game debut in a crossover next year

Yacht Club Games’ Mina the Hollower will make her fighting game debut as a guest character in Rivals of Aether 2, marking the first guest character addition to the Steam-based platform fighter. The announcement was made during EVO, the fighting game community’s largest annual esports tournament.

Mina the Hollower joins the roster of Rivals of Aether 2, described as a Smash Bros.-style competitive fighting game on Steam. This crossover continues Yacht Club Games’ collaborative presence in the fighting game space, following the appearance of Shovel Knight in the original Rivals of Aether. The character is scheduled to arrive in 2027.

While the announcement came via a brief teaser video, specific details about Mina’s moveset, mechanics, and the exact release date within 2027 remain undisclosed. The addition represents part of the game’s continued post-launch content roadmap and reinforces the series’ tradition of featuring crossover collaborations with other gaming properties.
