The Esports World Cup 2026 Valorant tournament groups have been officially unveiled, with Group B earning the designation of “Group of Death” due to exceptionally competitive matchups. The tournament begins group play on July 2 in Paris, ahead of the formal Esports World Cup opening on July 6.

Pacific region powerhouse Paper Rex, one of Asia-Pacific’s most dominant Valorant squads, have been drawn into the brutal Group B alongside multiple other top-tier opponents. While Paper Rex are pursuing their first-ever EWC Valorant title, they face a severe challenge navigating their group stage.
