Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls recruits Blade, Deadpool, and Loki for surprising new team, locks open beta for PS5 and PC
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls has revealed its final playable character team ahead of its launch on PS5 and PC, less than two months away. Announced at Evo 2026, the fifth and final roster team is called the Samurai Outriders, featuring Ghost Rider (Robbie Reyes, previously announced) alongside newly revealed characters Blade, Deadpool, and Loki. This anti-hero themed team completes the fighting game’s launch roster of 20 characters.
The tag-team fighting game, developed by Arc System Works, showcased the new team in a trailer that highlighted each character’s combat style and abilities. Deadpool’s footage was particularly notable for its meta humor and Easter eggs, including references to Mortal Kombat’s “Toasty!” callout, Johnny Cage’s signature move, and Arc System Works’ own Guilty Gear series. The character is voiced by Nolan North.
The announcement also revealed a new stage and confirmed that an open beta will be launching soon on both platforms, though specific dates were not detailed in the initial announcement. Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls continues to build anticipation as it approaches its imminent release.
