Silent Hill f DLC adds legendary costume from the Fatal Frame II remake
Konami has released new downloadable content for Silent Hill f, adding a legendary costume inspired by the Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly remake to the horror game. This cosmetic crossover brings together two of gaming’s most respected Japanese horror franchises.
Silent Hill f launched in September 2025 and quickly established itself as a standout entry in the horror franchise, earning strong critical praise for its art, characters, and narrative. The title performed remarkably well with critics and won numerous awards at industry events, including recognition at The Horror Game Awards, reinforcing its status as a franchise highlight.
The DLC draws from Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly, a remake of the acclaimed 2003 PlayStation 2 classic. The original game was celebrated for its innovative use of a camera as a weapon against ghosts, a defining mechanic of the Fatal Frame series. The costume crossover represents a unique collaboration between two major Japanese horror gaming properties.
