Who Qualified for The International 2026?
The International 2026 (TI 15), Dota 2’s premier annual esports championship, has concluded its regional qualification process with all 16 teams confirmed for the main event. The tournament will take place August 13-23, 2026, at the Oriental Sports Center in Shanghai, featuring a 16-team Swiss Stage format that feeds into a 10-team elimination bracket before determining eight teams for playoffs.
Seven teams received direct invitations to the tournament: Aurora Gaming, BoomBoys, Team Falcons, Team Liquid, Tundra Esports, Xtreme Gaming, and Team Yandex. The remaining nine spots were distributed among regional qualifiers across Europe, China, and Southeast Asia.
European qualifiers produced four representatives: Team Spirit and Team Vision secured the top two spots, while Nigma Galaxy and HULIGANI claimed the remaining EU positions. China’s representation includes Team Resilience (1st) and Vici Gaming (2nd). Southeast Asia secured one spot with OG qualifying, with GamerLegion rounding out the final roster.
This year’s International continues Valve’s tradition of bringing together the world’s elite Dota 2 teams for the game’s most prestigious competition.
