Griffin Gaming Partners invests in TinyBuild

Venture capital firm Griffin Gaming Partners has acquired a 3.24% equity stake in developer and publisher TinyBuild, marking a significant institutional investment in the indie gaming space. TinyBuild, founded in 2011, has built a portfolio of original intellectual property focused on creating sustainable franchises with global reach.

The studio is best known for titles including Hello Neighbor, Speed Runners, and Party Hard. Following the investment announcement, TinyBuild’s share price increased 5%, reflecting positive market sentiment around the deal and investor confidence in the studio’s strategic direction and growth prospects.

Griffin Gaming Partners partner Frankie Zhu commented on the investment, noting that the indie gaming space continues to produce some of gaming’s most enduring and culturally significant franchises. The investment reflects a broader trend of institutional capital increasingly recognizing the value and stability of independent publishers and developers in the gaming industry.

The minority stake acquisition demonstrates continued investor confidence in TinyBuild’s ability to develop and sustain successful gaming franchises alongside its broader portfolio strategy.
