GTA 6 Early Access Is Not Real, But The Scam Sites Are

Scam websites are exploiting excitement surrounding Grand Theft Auto 6’s upcoming launch by offering fraudulent “VIP” early access to the game for several hundred dollars. Rockstar Games has explicitly warned that no legitimate early access promotion exists for GTA 6.

Unlike other games such as Control Resonant and Gears of War: E-Day, which offer genuine early access options, GTA 6 provides no such program. The only legitimate way to access the game early is through the standard preload option, which allows players to download the game before its official launch date but prevents play until release.

Scammers are capitalizing on consumer enthusiasm and confusion about GTA 6’s launch timeline to perpetrate fraud. The deceptive sites are targeting eager players willing to pay hundreds of dollars for access that doesn’t exist. Rockstar Games advises potential players to be cautious of any third-party websites claiming to offer early access and to only use official channels and verified retailers for GTA 6 purchases and information as the release date approaches.
