Stillfront seeks new CEO as Alexis Bonte steps aside
Stillfront Group is seeking a new CEO following Alexis Bonte’s decision to step down from the role. The Finnish roll-up publisher, which owns a diverse portfolio including BitLife, Albion Online, Goodgame Studios, Sandbox Interactive, Jawaker, and Supremacy, has been undergoing significant restructuring efforts over recent months.
Bonte, who joined Stillfront in 2017, was appointed CEO in October 2024 and led the company through a strategic review and comprehensive restructure. This restructuring phase included multiple organizational changes, including the replacement of three board members at an extraordinary general meeting held in March. Additionally, Stillfront divested its narrative game portfolio as part of the broader transformation initiative.
The company has confirmed that Bonte will remain in his position as CEO until a successor is identified and appointed. The board expressed gratitude for Bonte’s contributions during his nearly decade-long tenure with the company, acknowledging his role in steering Stillfront through this transformative period.
