Turtle Beach Command Series KB7 TKL review
Turtle Beach’s Command Series KB7 TKL gaming keyboard exemplifies the manufacturer’s approach to adding premium features through integrated technology. The standout feature is a 4.3-inch color touchscreen interface positioned as a convenience tool for faster access to commands and functions compared to traditional keyboard shortcuts or monitor-based controls.
The keyboard leverages Hall effect switches and presents premium build quality with an aluminum chassis weighing just under a kilogram without the optional palm rest. The gun metal grey aesthetic provides a sophisticated appearance that emphasizes its gaming credentials, complemented by per-key RGB lighting customization that allows users to personalize effects to match their setup.
While the integrated touchscreen primarily duplicates functionality already accessible through standard monitor interfaces, the review suggests it provides efficiency gains by reducing context-switching during gaming or work sessions. The tenkeyless (TKL) form factor positions it as a space-conscious option for gaming enthusiasts prioritizing desk real estate alongside performance and aesthetics.
