New Kingdom Come: Deliverance Game Can Be Pre-Ordered, But It’s $199.99

Czech Games Edition has announced Kingdom Come: Deliverance – The Board Game, a tabletop adaptation of Warhorse Studios’ acclaimed medieval role-playing game. The board game is now available for pre-order at $199.99, with an expected release in Q1 2027.

The adaptation represents the latest in a growing trend of video game-to-board game conversions, following recent successful transitions of titles like Elden Ring, Slay the Spire, and Final Fantasy VII. The board game is designed by award-winning veterans and represents a collaboration between Czech Games Edition and Warhorse Studios.

Each session is estimated to run approximately 90 minutes per player. The higher price point reflects the substantial content and complexity involved in translating the medieval RPG experience to tabletop format.

Adapting video games to board games presents distinct challenges: designers must convert solo or cooperative digital mechanics into engaging multiplayer experiences while manually tracking systems typically handled by computer code. Kingdom Come: Deliverance’s deep world-building and immersive narrative present both creative opportunities and design constraints for the tabletop interpretation.
