Kirby Air Riders Is Getting A New amiibo This September
Nintendo is expanding the Kirby Air Riders amiibo line with new releases this summer and fall. King Dedede & Tank Star amiibo launched today, marking the continuation of collectible figure releases for the popular racing game. Following this release, Nintendo has officially announced a Chef Kawasaki & Hop Star amiibo set coming September 3, 2026.
According to Nintendo’s Japanese website, the Chef Kawasaki figure will include a notable feature: movable thrusters on its associated vehicle. This addition suggests ongoing innovation in the amiibo line’s design, potentially offering enhanced interactivity or display value beyond standard figures.
These releases reflect Nintendo’s strategy of supporting Kirby Air Riders with additional merchandise and collectibles, maintaining player engagement beyond the base game experience. The staggered release schedule through September indicates a sustained rollout of new amiibo content for the title.
