LEGO Boba Fett Set Announced, for Ages 18 and Up
LEGO has unveiled a new buildable Boba Fett model, the 75455 set, rated for ages 18 and up. Contrary to what the age rating might suggest, the 18+ designation is based on the set’s building complexity and its intended role as a display piece for collectors, not due to any inappropriate content. The set does not include LEGO Smart Play features.
The model portrays the legendary bounty hunter in his iconic Return of the Jedi appearance, standing 41 centimeters (16 inches) tall. LEGO has meticulously recreated Fett’s recognizable equipment, including his Mandalorian Beskar armor, Z-6 jetpack, EE-3 carbine rifle, flamethrower, concussion rockets, whipcord launcher, and kneepad-mounted rocket dart launchers. The design also incorporates a fabric cap as a distinctive feature.
This release continues LEGO’s Star Wars collection, catering to adult enthusiasts and collectors who seek display-quality models of popular franchise characters. The 18+ rating positions this as a premium building experience designed for older fans rather than children, emphasizing the architectural complexity and display value of the finished model.
