Phasmophobia features seven cursed objects—supernatural items with unique abilities designed to assist players during investigations. These optional tools range in functionality from resurrecting fallen teammates to eliminating ghost evidence, providing valuable support when players are stuck identifying a ghost or tackling higher difficulty contracts.
Cursed objects can only be used within investigation areas and spawn dynamically throughout contracts. The specific cursed items that appear and their quantities vary from one contract to another, independent of difficulty level in standard matches, though custom games may have different rules. Each cursed object has a distinct spawn location on every map, requiring players to learn where to find them.
