Grand strategy game Terra Invicta is getting two new scenarios - a Fallout-style nuclear wasteland, and an early noughties world of UFO sceptics

Terra Invicta, a sci-fi grand strategy game, is receiving its first major DLC pack called Dark Skies, launching in July. Developed by Pavonis Interactive and published by Hooded Horse, the expansion adds two new starting scenarios with distinct settings and challenges.

The first scenario moves the timeline back to 2003, during the height of the US-led invasion of Iraq, giving players an additional 20 years to prepare for an eventual alien invasion. This setting is characterized by widespread UFO skepticism, creating a narrative contrast as the alien threat gradually becomes undeniable.

The second scenario presents a post-apocalyptic setting inspired by the Fallout franchise, offering players a nuclear wasteland starting point for a more challenging gameplay experience. Beyond new scenarios, Dark Skies also includes newly designed spaceship models to enhance visual variety.

The expansion represents the first paid DLC for Terra Invicta since its full release, providing increased replayability and offering players fresh strategic opportunities across distinctly different historical and post-apocalyptic contexts.
