Epic Games Store’s new free PC games revealed
Epic Games Store is offering two free PC games this week for users. River City Girls 2 is a stylish, side-scrolling beat-’em-up featuring six playable characters, each with distinct fighting styles. The game supports both single-player and co-op modes, with combat centered around colorful environments and mechanics including elemental attacks, guard crushes, and lift-off combos. It continues the long-running River City franchise, which includes the 1989 classic River City Ransom and recently released River City Saga: Journey to the West.
The second free title is a game adaptation of the Hugo Award-winning short story I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream, bringing a literary science fiction classic to interactive entertainment. Both games are available for a limited time as part of Epic Games Store’s ongoing free game promotion, allowing users to claim full titles at no cost.
