Beloved PSVR ‘Moss’ Games Jump To Switch 1 & 2 This Month, Pre-Orders Now Open
Two acclaimed PlayStation VR games are making the leap to Nintendo Switch. Polyarc’s Moss and Moss: Book II, which were originally exclusive to PSVR and highly regarded by those who experienced them, are coming to both Switch and Switch 2 this summer, with pre-orders now open.
The games are being released together as Moss: The Forgotten Relic, a bundle combining both titles. Rather than attempting a one-to-one replication of the VR experience, developer Polyarc has redesigned the games specifically for traditional controller-based gameplay on Nintendo’s consoles. According to the developer, their guiding principle was to adapt rather than replicate, acknowledging the fundamental differences between VR and traditional gaming while preserving the core appeal of the beloved puzzle-adventure series.
The announcement addresses long-standing demand from Switch players and non-VR owners who wanted to experience the Moss series but lacked access to PlayStation’s VR headset. The Switch ports represent a significant expansion of the games’ potential audience, bringing exclusive PSVR content to Nintendo’s established user base.
