Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7, Diablo 4, And More Games Are Free On Xbox This Weekend
Microsoft is bringing back its Free Play Days promotion, offering players free access to several top-tier games over the July 4th weekend. The centerpiece is Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, which offers free access to its multiplayer and Zombies modes through July 6. Diablo IV is also available for free through July 7.
Additionally, several games feature limited free trials: Demonschool and The Stone Madness offer two-hour trials through July 5, while Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure is available through the same date (though it requires Xbox Game Pass). Battlefield 6 also has a trial available via Battlefield REDSEC, featuring five modes and four maps.
Notably, most of these games do not require an Xbox Game Pass subscription during their free play periods, making them genuinely free to access for all Xbox players. The promotion provides a solid opportunity for those with downtime during the holiday weekend to sample major titles across multiple genres—from competitive shooters to action RPGs and tactical games.
