T1 LoL World Champions Riftbound Cards Guarantee Riot At Least $10m
Riot Games has released a special T1 edition for Riftbound, its League of Legends trading card game, celebrating T1’s 2025 World Championship victory. The set features T1 and Faker-themed cards based on their championship skins, available in two purchasing tiers to serve different audiences.
Two bundles are offered: The T1 Worlds Champion Player Bundle for competitive players, and The T1 Worlds Champion Signature Edition for collectors featuring Riftbound’s first-ever serialized cards. The Signature Edition contains five cards with one serialized between 1 and 2025, creating 10,125 unique collectible bundles per language region.
Priced at $360 for the Signature Edition, the set launches across three languages—English, Chinese, and newly added Korean. With 10,125 bundles per language, Riot projects revenue exceeding $10.9 million if all bundles sell. This release leverages T1’s esports championship to drive monetization for Riftbound while introducing scarcity mechanics through serialized collectibles.
