Solo Leveling: Beyond the System Movie Announced at Anime Expo
Solo Leveling, the acclaimed anime adaptation of the web novel, will continue with a full-length movie titled “Solo Leveling: Beyond the System.” The announcement was made at Crunchyroll’s Anime Expo, revealed by Aleks Le, the English voice actor for protagonist Sung Jinwoo.
The film will serve as a direct continuation of season 2, “Solo Leveling: Arise from the Shadow,” continuing the story where the television series concluded. Anime studio A-1 Pictures, known for producing Sword Art Online and Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV, will handle production of the movie.
While Crunchyroll released promotional concept art and a teaser video for the film, concrete details remain limited. No release date has been announced, and there is currently no confirmation of whether the franchise will receive a full third season following the movie’s release.
The theatrical continuation reflects a growing trend in the anime industry, where successful series expand through feature films to broaden audience reach and narrative scope. The movie announcement demonstrates continued confidence in Solo Leveling’s commercial viability and popularity within the anime community.
