I tested the new ASUS Zenbook A14 Windows laptop, and its 2026 upgrade to Snapdragon X2 Elite impressed me
ASUS has released a 2026 update to its Zenbook A14 Windows on ARM laptop, featuring the latest Snapdragon X2 Elite processor. The Zenbook A14 line gained prominence following its initial reveal at CES 2025, with the 2025 model earning positive reviews despite a $100 price increase. The new 2026 variant maintains the compact, premium design that made the original popular among Windows on ARM users. Priced at $2,000, the updated model raises the question of whether the processor upgrade justifies the cost over the previous generation. The Snapdragon X2 Elite represents the latest iteration in Qualcomm’s mobile-class processor line adapted for Windows laptops.
