GKIDS Reveals 3 New Collector’s Editions of Beloved Films and Blu-ray Remaster of Hideaki Anno’s Love & Pop at Anime Expo 2026
Media distributor GKIDS announced four collector’s edition home video releases during its panel at Anime Expo 2026. The releases include three new collector’s editions of beloved anime films and the first-ever Blu-ray release of Hideaki Anno’s Love & Pop (1998).
The releases launching this fall include Linda Linda Linda Collector’s Edition (4K UHD + Blu-ray) arriving August 25, 2026, and Look Back Collector’s Edition (4K UHD + Blu-ray). Look Back is a 2024 film based on manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto, the creator of Chainsaw Man, following two young artists who start as rivals before their relationship develops into something deeper. The film is known for its emotionally devastating twists and explores the artists’ drives to create art together. The Look Back collector’s edition is priced at $99.
All releases are exclusive to the GKIDS store and are currently available for preorder, with shipping expected this summer. The distributor designed these editions specifically for collectors, featuring premium presentations of beloved anime titles.
