SEGA Saturn Dating Sim ‘Sentimental Graffiti’ Will Be Resurrected on PS5

Sentimental Graffiti, a dating simulation game originally released for the SEGA Saturn in 1998, is being revived for PlayStation 5. The resurrection of the obscure Japanese title is being handled by developer Entergram.

In the game, players assume the role of Tanaka Ichirou, a student who frequently relocated during middle school. The gameplay centers on meeting and interacting with various female characters throughout the student’s school life—a central mechanic of the dating sim genre.

The original Sentimental Graffiti release on Saturn remains relatively unknown outside of Japan and among dedicated retro gaming enthusiasts, making this PS5 port a notable example of classic game preservation and localization efforts. By bringing the title to modern hardware, Entergram is introducing the dating sim to contemporary audiences while allowing existing fans to experience the game on current-generation consoles.

This revival reflects growing industry interest in resurrecting niche and historically significant titles that might otherwise remain inaccessible to most players. The move from Saturn to PS5 represents a significant technical leap, spanning nearly three decades of gaming platform evolution.
