SK Gaming Bench LIDER And Sign SlowQ for LEC Summer Split
SK Gaming has announced a midlane change for its League of Legends roster heading into the LEC Summer Split, benching Norwegian midlaner Adam ‘LIDER’ Ilyasov following the team’s failure to qualify for the LEC Playoffs. The organization has signed Korean midlaner Seo ‘SlowQ’ Ye-bit on a contract extending through November 2027.
SlowQ previously represented SK at the Esports World Cup Qualifiers earlier this year, though the team was eliminated by Galions in that competition. Prior to joining SK, SlowQ played for Turkish organization Misa Esports, which withdrew from competitive League of Legends in April.
The roster move reflects SK Gaming’s continued efforts to rebuild following a disappointing season. The organization made a high-profile acquisition earlier in the year by signing Mihael ‘Mikyx’ Mehle, but the team has struggled to achieve playoff success. The signing of SlowQ represents another attempt to improve the team’s competitive performance as they prepare for the LEC Summer Split.
